Degree Requirements

There are two master's degree programs from which to choose. Both require a minimum of 30 hours.

The Master of Engineering degree requires a minimum of ten (10) 3-hr. courses and no thesis.

The Master of Science degree requires a minimum of eight (8) 3-hr. courses in addition to 6-hrs. of thesis.

A majority of the credits earned must be in 700- and 800-level courses.

Ph.D. requirements may be obtained from the Graduate Director of each department. Note: All Ph.D. programs require a research component that must be done in residence at the College of Engineering and Computing.
