K-12 Lesson Plans

Welcome! The following lesson plans were developed by University of South Carolina graduate students in partnership with Columbia area K-12 teachers, via the GK-12 program. Created primarily for use in 6-8th grade science and mathematics classrooms, many of these lesson plans can be adapted to suit other grade levels. The lessons have been organized according to the South Carolina State Standards and all fulfill the SC standard requirement for Scientific Inquiry. Please feel free to use and/or edit these experiments as you see fit.
