K-12 Programs

The center's programs are designed to promote engineering, science and math learning. A list of other USC outreach programs is here.

Programs for K-12 Teachers and Students
  • The GK-12 Institute for Teachers is a summer workshop for K-12 Teachers that disseminates best practices from the Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education Program. Hands-on activities that integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics are emphasized.
  • FIRST LEGO League and Palmetto FIRST Robotics inspire an appreciation of science and technology and recognize the enrichment they bring to the lives of young people.
  • Project Lead the Way partners with schools to prepare an increasing and more diverse group of engineering students and create new generations of engineers.
