Optimus is the College's second largest High Performance Computing
system. Optimus is 64 nodes, each node having two dual-core AMD
processors, totaling 256 cores. Usage of Optimus is primarily
restricted to Chemical Engineering, however idle time is available. |

If you are in the Chemical
Engineering department and wish to use Optimus to conduct your
research, please contact us for access. Cycles are also given to
those wishing to utilize Multi-core technology in their
experiments.
