How to Get Access
For all other account requests, please email
HPCG@engr.sc.edu
To login into NICK, use the following command:
ssh -l
username nick.engr.sc.edu SNAP APPLIANCE
The SNAP server is a 1TB NFS device on NICK used for
archiving data and temporary data transfers. It is only connected
through Ethernet, so throughput would be ineffective if used during
job proccesses. |

NICK |
MPI USAGE
Please note
that to get effective usage of NICK, you must use the OPENMPI
implementation that we provide.
Using your own installed version of MPI runs only over Ethernet.
Ethernet usage is only to be used for administrative purposes and
for transferring data to the NFS device.
