The following instructions are to map your network drive once you have connected to the Engineering network via VPN.
For Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003 Server
Open My Computer, select Tools, and Map Network Drive.
In the Folder: input box, type \\engr_asu.engr.sc.edu\Z_your-user-name$. Put your user name where it says YOUR-USER-NAME and don’t forget the $ on the end. Example: User name "smith5" maps to "\\engr_asu.engr.sc.edu\z_smith5$".
Make sure the Reconnect at logon is Unchecked.
Click on Connect using a "different user name". For Username: type "Engineering\your-user-name". Put your user name where it says YOUR-USER-NAME and type in your password. Click OK.
Click Finish. You are now able to access your network drive. Simply open My Computer or Windows Explorer and open your drive.
