Prospective Students! Come for a college tour

During your campus visit, you can arrange for a College of Engineering and Computing tour with a CEC Ambassador. Tours are offered Monday – Friday at 2 pm. Click the link above to schedule a campus and/or College of Engineering and Computing tour through the Visitor Center.

Project Lead the WaY (pltw)

National alliance for pre-engineering programs involving middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities in partnership with industry and professional organizations. Courses augment math and science courses now offered in our high schools; through PLTW, high school students can earn college credit for engineering courses taken in high school.

Enhanced Learning Experiences (ELE)

Intended to increase a student's awareness and interest in engineering and computing through interactive and engaging experiences. Includes: hands-on activities, expense reimbursement, and lunch (limited to 30 students for the day).

Summer K-12 Opportunities

The College of Engineering and Computing hosts a variety of summer camps for students in Middle School and High School (to be updated in the first quarter of 2012)

Edison Lecture Series

The Edison Lecture Series will be held on a yearly basis beginning in October 2011. The goal of the Lecture Series is to introduce middle and high school students to applications and impacts of engineering and computing.

k-12 Lesson plans

Lesson plans developed by USC grad students in partnership with Columbia area K-12 teachers, via the GK-12 program, primarily for use in 6-8th grade science and mathematics classrooms.
