Resources for Teams

We know that we can't cover everything on this site that a FIRST Robotics Competition team could want to know, but we sure can try to link to it!

Whole-Team Resources:

FRC on usfirst.org: The official site, with documentation and other official information.

Chief Delphi Forums: A forum run by Team #47 from Pontiac, MI. Considered by many to be the definitive online community and resource for FRC discussion. Includes significant photo galleries and white papers.

Marketing, the Business Plan, and FRC by William "Billfred" Leverette, FRC 1618

Drive System Basics by Mike Bryan, FRC 342

Managing the Six-Week Project by Jack Roach, FRC 1051

Speakers Bureau: A group of faculty from the College of Engineering and Computing who are available to speak with your nearby FRC team.

IFI Robotics: The official supplier of the FRC control system. Contains documentation and means to order additional or spare parts.

FIRST Robotics Canada: Contains notes from past workshops held in the Great White North, as well as hundreds of pictures of various FRC robot mechanisms.

The Blue Alliance: A web video series by a group of college-age FRC mentors. It covers the basics of several aspects of robot design and construction.

NEMO: Non-Engineering Mentors Organization: A group for FRC, FVC, and FLL mentors who handle many non-technical tasks, such as fundraising, handling team travel, and spirit. (Engineers are welcome as well.)
