Agenda: Team Social
Friday, March 30 | 5 pm

Sponsored and hosted by The University of South Carolina's College of Engineering and Computing, the Palmetto FRC team social is a great time for participants to gather together in a non-competitive atmosphere for good time and good food.

We're pleased to announce that this year's team social will be held at the South Carolina State Museum. Attendees at the social will have access to all of the museum's exhibits including the major new exhibit on space science and search for extraterrestrial life, Aliens: Worlds of Possibilities. In addition, don't forget to bring your wallet as you'll have a chance to pick up souveniers of your visit to Columbia as the museum's gift shop will also be open during the social.

Bring your appetite to the social as well. In true Southern fashion, the bar-be-que dinner will be provided by The Palmetto Pig. The menu includes all of your down-home favorites: pork bbq, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, pickles, banana pudding, and, of course, plenty of sweet (and unsweet) tea!

The museum is located at 301 Gervais Street, beside the historic Gervais Street Bridge and just a few blocks west of the State Capitol in downtown Columbia. From the Colonial Center, go left on Lincoln Street. Take a left on Gervais Street. The museum is located on the right before you get to the bridge.
