College of Engineering and Computing Faculty Search: Computational Nanoscience, University 0f South Carolina


The University of South Carolina seeks to hire two tenure-track faculty members in computational nanoscience in one or more of the following departments: Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Successful candidates will have the ability to conduct computational nanoscience research that augments and complements existing USC expertise, including catalysis (with special emphasis in fuel cell and hydrogen technologies); nanoelectronics; bio/nano particles; polymer nanocomposites; and mathematical models and computational approaches for understanding signaling networks in a cellular and organismal context.
