Transfer PolicyChange of School or Campus from within the USC SystemAll USC students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on at least 15 hours earned at USC. The earned hours must include a four semester hour calculus course equivalent to MATH 141 with a grade of “C” or better. The majority of earned USC hours must be creditable to an engineering or computer science degree. Transfer from outside the USC SystemAll transfer students must have a four semester hour calculus course (equivalent to MATH 141) with a grade of “C” or better and have completed 30 semester hours or more of college work with a minimum GPA of 2.75. The majority of the transfer hours must be creditable to an engineering or computer science degree. International StudentsAn international student is defined as a student who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. If academic credentials are from U.S. schools, follow freshman or transfer requirements. If academic credentials are from another country, follow requirements listed below.
Cases not covered, or of some exceptional circumstances, may be considered by the College Scholastic Standards and Petitions Committee.
