XPS User Facility Price List

Effective September 4, 2007

Tier I   (conductors, insulators with previously determined charging behavior)
Survey scans (elemental analysis):		$30/sample
Oxidation states (includes survey scan):		$60/sample

Tier II (insulators with unknown charging behavior)
Survey scans (elemental analysis):		$50/sample
Oxidation states (includes survey scan):		$80/sample

Tier III  (specialized services, in addition to scan charges)
Sample preparation cell:		$50/hour, capped at $250
Sputter-depth profiling:		$50/hour, capped at $250
Data analysis:		$50/hour

 

New Research Group Introductory Rate

• Research groups that have never used XPS may be eligible for an introductory flat rate price of $50/sample that includes a survey scan, oxidation state scan, and data analysis.

 

General Information

• All samples must be accompanied by a completed sample information sheet with account number for charges.
• Samples must be received by 5 pm Thursday for analysis the following week.
• Experiments requiring multiple days must be scheduled in advance and may require longer turn-around time.
